Magnetic Encoder Ring Configurator
Select a standard dual-track ring or configure a custom concept. Define dimensions, pole widths and mounting details, then send your requirements to OTV for engineering review.
Start with the reading layout
Choose the surface your sensor will read.
Choose a standard part or a custom part to continue.
Select a standard dual-track ring
Filter by dimensions, reading direction, pole pairs and IC family. Select a model to load its dimensions, or customize from a standard part.
| Model | Reading | IC family | Pole pairs | OD (mm) | ID (mm) | T (mm) | Choose |
|---|
Dimensions are nominal. A listed IC family is a selection reference, not a guarantee of compatibility. Radial thickness and mounting details require confirmation. Availability and final drawings are reviewed by OTV.
IC, pole pairs & optional geometry helper
Custom part: enter your sensor and magnetic pole widths, then define the mechanical envelope below.
Each width describes one N or S pole along that track’s sensing circumference. It is not radial track width or N+S pole-pair pitch. Master and Nonius widths can differ.
iC-MUE requirements are sent for engineering review. The iC-MU geometry helper is not applied to iC-MUE.
Known pole-pair counts & iC-MU scan helper (optional)
One pole pair = one N + one S pole. This optional helper covers iC-MU / MU128, MU150 and MU200 axial concentric 16/15, 32/31 or 64/63 layouts. Entered pole widths remain customer requirements; they do not override the IC helper’s nominal values.

Define your mechanical space
Enter a fixed size, an acceptable range, or ask us to propose it.
This dimension will be proposed by OTV during review.

A min–max range expresses design flexibility. It is not a manufacturing tolerance. Preview values within a range are illustrative.
Place your mounting holes
Define a bolt circle or enter hole centers individually.

Hole centers in mm. Origin at ring center; +X right, +Y up. All holes use the diameter / range above.

A carrier or flange may be needed. Checks use the ring envelope; active track and fastening clearance require engineering review.
